iGET SECURITY M3P19 - Wireless Carbon Monoxide (CO) Detector

Wireless carbon monoxide detector that works independently or as an accessory for the iGET SECURITY M3 and M4 alarms. Complies with EN50291 and CE certification.

The iGET SECURITY M3P19 wireless carbon monoxide detector, which operates independently or as an accessory for the iGET SECURITY M3 and M4 alarms. It is used to detect dangerous and toxic carbon monoxide (a colorless, odorless gas that cannot be detected by human senses). This gas is produced by the incomplete combustion of fuels such as wood, charcoal, coal, natural gas, propane, paraffin, heating oil, butane, kerosene, gasoline, etc. The iGET SECURITY M3P19 features fault detection, a test button, and is powered by 2 AA batteries (included). Low power consumption.

Main parameters:

- The detector is designed for all rooms where carbon monoxide monitoring is required,
- As soon as CO is detected, the warning LED begins to flash red and the detector’s siren sounds,
- Detection method: highly sensitive electrochemical sensor (min. 40 ppm)
- Includes a test button to check functionality,
- Error/malfunction detection: an orange LED lights up,
- Low battery indication: a yellow LED lights up,
- Internal siren volume during an alarm: 85 dB at a distance of 3 m from the detector,
- The detector can also be wirelessly connected to the iGET SECURITY M3 and M4 alarms, ensuring comprehensive protection. Upon receiving an alarm signal, the alarm system also activates the siren and sends an SMS notification of the event,
- the detector operates at a frequency of 433.29 MHz, allowing it to be used with many other brands of alarm systems that operate on the same frequency,
- power supply: 2x 3 V AA batteries (included)
- low power consumption.

Using the detector. What is carbon monoxide and why is it so dangerous?

Carbon monoxide, denoted as CO, is a highly dangerous, colorless, and poisonous gas. It is odorless and toxic. In any enclosed space (house, cottage, office, apartment, etc.), even a small accumulation of this gas can pose a significant danger.

Carbon monoxide is produced during the incomplete combustion of fuels such as wood, charcoal, coal, natural gas, propane, paraffin, heating oil, butane, kerosene, gasoline, and tobacco smoke.
Incomplete combustion can occur in all devices that burn these materials, e.g., if the device is defective, improperly maintained, or if the flue is blocked or the room is inadequately ventilated. These include, for example: fireplaces, stoves, flues, gas boilers, heating systems, etc.
