iGET SECURITY M3P6 - Wireless Gas Detector

This is a wireless gas detector that can operate independently or as an accessory for the iGET SECURITY M3 and M4 alarms. Depending on its location, it can detect natural gas (LNG, CNG), propane-butane (LPG), and petroleum products.

The iGET SECURITY M3P6 wireless gas detector is an accessory for the iGET SECURITY M3 and M4 alarms. It is used to detect natural gas (LNG, CNG), propane-butane (LPG), and petroleum products. It also features fault detection, a test button, and is powered by 230 V. The detector features a modern design and is environmentally friendly thanks to its low power consumption.

Gas detectors have become an integral part of homes, cottages, apartments, garages, and similar spaces, and they serve many purposes:

  • gas stoves in the kitchen,
  • for gas boilers to detect gas leaks,
  • in garages for cars running on LPG, LNG, or CNG.

Key specifications:

  • The detector is designed for all rooms where gas levels need to be monitored;
  • as soon as it detects the gas, the warning LED starts flashing red and the detector’s siren sounds,
  • the detector can also be wirelessly connected to the iGET SECURITY M3 and M4 alarms, ensuring comprehensive protection. Upon receiving an alarm signal, the alarm activates the siren and sends an SMS notification,
  • The detector operates at a frequency of 433.29 MHz, making it compatible with many other brands of alarms that operate on the same frequency,
  • A simple addition to the iGET SECURITY M3 and M4 basic alarm set,
  • includes a test button to check functionality,
  • Error detection: a yellow LED lights up,
  • Modern design, environmentally friendly thanks to low power consumption.

Possible detector placement and use:
Gases lighter than air rise—place the detector near the ceiling:
Install the detector at a height of 0.3 to 1 m below the ceiling, and 60 cm from corners, i.e., where two walls meet. It must be at least 1.5 m away from the gas source to prevent false alarms.
This applies to natural gas (LNG, CNG).

Gases that are heavier than air sink to the floor—place the detector near the floor:
Place the detector at a height of 0.3 to 1 m above the floor, and 60 cm from corners, i.e., where two walls meet. It must be at least 1.5 m away from the gas source to prevent false alarms.
These include propane-butane (LPG) and petroleum products.
