Camera Connection and PoE Power

Each camera is connected directly to the main NVR recorder via an Ethernet cable. Both the camera’s power and data are transmitted through this cable. The NVR recorder thus fully handles the camera’s power supply. The camera, in turn, sends data—the recorded videos—to the NVR recorder. You can use the 18-meter cable included in the package with connectors; one is provided for each camera. Alternatively, you can connect the entire system to existing wiring. The advantage of existing wiring is that the cable length from the NVR recorder to each camera can be up to 100m. The wiring must consist of Ethernet cable, Category Cat.5e, Cat.6, or higher.

Innovative SMART motion detection using built-in PIR detectors in the cameras

Another advantage of this set is that it supports a special, completely innovative motion detection mode. Thanks to the built-in PIR detector in the cameras, with a 120° field of view and a 7m range, it can accurately identify the type of object. These cameras recognize important movements—such as the movement of a person, a car, a large animal, etc. In contrast, conventional cameras detect movement solely based on optics, which cannot accurately identify the object. With conventional technology, the camera detects movement even from falling leaves, rain, sunset, spider webs, insect movement, etc.

 

Easy setup and voice control
support Setup is completed in a few simple steps following the manual, which is available in full in Czech, Slovak, and English. The camera feed can be viewed on a computer, smartphone, or tablet. Android and iOS are supported for mobile devices, while Windows and macOS are supported for computers. Setting up mobile access is also very easy by scanning a QR code into your smartphone or tablet; the connection is established in just a few seconds. It supports Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.

High image quality

The iGET HOMEGUARD HGNVK936CAM cameras included in the set feature a high-quality 1/2.3" 8.0 MPx sensor with Ultra HD 3840 x 2160 (4K) resolution, ensuring clear and sharp images. The field of view is 104°. Video recordings are captured using H.265 compression. The cameras feature 3D DNR digital noise reduction, dual streaming, and a bit rate of 256 kbps to 8 Mbps.

Night vision and two-way audio

Thanks to the built-in color IR LED night illumination in each camera, they can be used continuously day and night. Each camera includes IR LED illuminators with a range of 40 m, as well as LED warning lights. For a cleaner design, these LEDs are hidden under a dark cover on the camera. They also support audio transmission, featuring both a microphone and a speaker. Thanks to these features, the cameras can be used in any environment, even with zero or reduced visibility.

Access online monitoring and recordings from anywhere

Using the "Homeguardsafe" app, you can quickly and easily connect to all recordings and view live video feeds from the cameras. This app is available for all smartphones and tablets running Android and iOS. To access the system from a computer, you can use the desktop software or a web browser; both Windows and Mac operating systems are supported. Thanks to P2P protocol support, accessing the system via the app is very easy. There is no need to open ports on your home router or set up a public IP address. All you need is an Internet connection, and everything works perfectly.

Playback and Multitasking

The NVR recorder supports local playback of 8 channels simultaneously, search by event and alarm list, date, and time. Multiple playback speeds (forward and reverse), and zoom. The NVR recorder features a powerful chipset that allows it to handle multiple tasks at once. For example, it is possible to play back stored video, continue recording new video, and simultaneously monitor all alarms—such as SMART motion detection—all at the same time. During this time, the player is also fully accessible from a mobile phone, tablet, or PC for multiple users. Setting up multiple user accounts and groups is a given.

Connectivity and ONVIF Support

The NVR recorder can be connected to the Internet via an RJ45 (LAN) cable with a speed of 1000 Mbps. This allows you to view live video and recordings online. The NVR recorder features 8x LAN RJ45 connectors for data and camera power, 1x HDMI and 1x VGA for connecting TVs and monitors, 1x RCA for Audio OUT, 1x LAN RJ45 for Internet connection, 2x USB ports for USB flash drives/mouse/keyboard, and a power connector.
