The iGET ACTIVE A8 sports watch is the perfect companion for your workouts. Thanks to GPS, it accurately tracks your route during sports activities; you can wear it while swimming, and it can keep track of you all day long on a hiking trip. And with the ability to sync with your phone, you can use it to answer calls or control music playback. It can measure your athletic performance metrics such as heart rate, distance traveled, and calories burned, analyze them via the app, or back them up to the cloud over the long term. The package includes a white and red strap. IP68 rating is a given.

Train, record your results, and compare them. Thanks to 128 MB of internal ROM, you can store your workout results in the watch and don’t have to connect it to a computer every time. With 32 MB of RAM, you don’t have to worry about slow performance—it’ll run just as fast as the best sprinters.

You can view all measured workout metrics right on the wristband itself. The wristband can also be paired with your smartphone, so you can view new notifications from apps like Facebook, WhatsApp, Viber, or Skype, as well as SMS and caller previews. After you read them, they automatically delete and remain only on your phone. In addition, the wristband also functions as a classic watch, displaying the current time.

app. It not only provides an overview of all your sports activities and measured data, but also lets you customize the wristband to your needs, connect it to the Cloud for data backup, or update its firmware online. The app also lets you view and analyze your sports activities or share them with other platforms like the aforementioned Google Fit
, etc. At the same time, you can view the data in the Health
app on iOS.
Keeps you active
As mentioned earlier, the wristband can monitor your athletic performance, but it can also alert you to various things. Thanks to special features, it will send you a signal, for example, if you’ve been sitting at the computer for too long or haven’t had a drink in a while. Using the app, you can track the band if it goes missing, or set up to 5 different notifications that will alert you at a set time via sound and vibration.
Stay in the loop thanks to constant pairing with your phone
For successful pairing with your phone, the watch is equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 BLE. Compared to standard Bluetooth, this has the advantage of consuming less power while still functioning similarly to the classic version. For fast data transfer, Bluetooth 3.0 is available, ensuring lightning-fast synchronization of the watch with your phone.

The reason for the connection between the app/mobile phone and the watch being terminated is therefore the specific version of Android running on the mobile phone, which controls the behavior and power consumption of apps running in the background on the mobile phone—not the watch or the app itself.
Always check for system updates for your mobile phone before configuring Android optimizations, and if any are available, install them first.
