iGET SECURITY P6 - Wireless Gas Detector
Accessories for the iGET SECURITY M3B and M2B security systems – P6 wireless gas detector.
P6 Wireless Gas Detector
This is a wireless gas detector that can operate independently or as an accessory for the iGET SECURITY M3B and M2B alarms. This detector is also compatible with many alarms from other brands; please contact our technical support for information regarding compatibility.
Depending on its location, it can detect natural gas (LNG, CNG), coal gas, propane-butane (LPG), and petroleum products.
Gas detectors have become an integral part of homes, cottages, apartments, garages, and similar spaces, and they serve many purposes:
- gas stoves in the kitchen,
- near boilers,
- in the garage for cars running on LPG, LNG, or CNG.
Main parameters:
- The detector is designed for all rooms where gas levels need to be monitored;
- as soon as it detects the gas, the warning LED starts flashing red and the detector’s siren sounds,
- the detector can also be wirelessly connected to the iGET SECURITY M3B and M2B alarms, ensuring comprehensive protection. Upon receiving an alarm signal, the alarm system will also activate its siren and send an SMS notification,
- The detector operates on a 433 MHz frequency, allowing it to be used with many other brands of alarms that operate on the same frequency,
- A simple addition to the basic iGET SECURITY alarm kit,
- includes a test button to check functionality.
Possible locations and uses for the detector:
Gases that are lighter than air rise; place the detector near the ceiling: Install the detector 15 to 30 cm below the ceiling and 60 cm from corners—i.e., where two walls meet. It must be at least 1.2 m away from the gas source to prevent false alarms. These include:
- Natural gas (LNG, CNG),
- coal gas.
Gases that are heavier than air sink to the floor; install the detector near the floor: Place the detector 15 to 30 cm above the floor and 60 cm from corners, i.e., where two walls meet. It must be at least 1.2 m away from the gas source to prevent false alarms. These include:
- Propane-butane (LPG),
- petroleum products.
