iGET SECURITY M6-4G Premium
is the ideal smart security system for all types of buildings—houses, apartments, cottages, offices, garages, stores, warehouses, government offices, and more. It is a wireless alarm system that is easy to install and control, and it does more than just secure your home. You can use it to remotely or via a timer control electrical appliances using smart outlets, and also monitor what’s happening at any time via IP cameras. All sensors are wireless; most are battery-powered with a battery life of up to 5 years, while the main unit is powered by a 230 V mains supply (but also has its own backup battery with a runtime of up to 24 hours). This ensures the property is constantly monitored by the backup battery even during a power outage. It also has a backup Internet connection; if the Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection fails, it automatically switches to the 4G LTE data network, or vice versa. It can also send SMS messages regarding alarm status and alerts.
App
The iGET M6 app, available for free on Google Play and the iOS App Store, is designed for control. The app is completely free at all times. Using this app, you can easily configure all settings, add sensors, control IP cameras, smart outlets, and more. The app is available in Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, and English. A single app thus combines the setup and control of the alarm, IP cameras, and smart outlets—all-in-one. The app also supports a special alert feature for the iOS platform—Critical Alerts.
Wireless Transmission and Security
The sensors connect to the main unit via wireless transmission with a range of up to 800 m. This wireless transmission operates at a frequency of 868 MHz and features very strong security backed by RED DA certification. Despite this special security and the sensors’ long range to the main unit, the sensors have a battery life of up to 5 years. Furthermore, the alarm communicates with the Internet via special secure European Google servers compliant with GDPR, which establish a connection between the alarm and the mobile phone.
How the alarm communicates with the app/phone
The iGET SECURITY M6-4G alarm is connected to the Internet and automatically communicates with the server. An Internet connection for the M6-4G is required and can be established via Wi-Fi (the alarm supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n at 150 Mbps), via an Ethernet cable with an RJ45 connector (10/100 Mbps), and also via 4G LTE or GSM mobile data. The user’s mobile phone must be connected to the Internet via a data connection or Wi-Fi so that the alarm can communicate with the server. The alarm also supports sending SMS messages via a basic GSM connection. Wireless IP cameras are directly connected to your home Wi-Fi network with an Internet connection, just like the M6-4G alarm.
Connection to a central monitoring station (PCO)
The iGET SECURITY M6-4G alarm supports connection to a central monitoring station (PCO). This allows the alarm to be connected to security agencies that will monitor your property. Specifically, it supports CMS Contact ID and SIA (DC-09) type monitoring centers.
Multiple user accounts
The iGET SECURITY M6-4G alarm features two levels of user accounts. The primary one is the “Administrator,” who performs all settings and controls. Next is “User”—for each user, you can set which rooms and groups they can control, as well as which notifications each user should receive, but they cannot make settings.
Quickly sharing settings and creating an account
If the administrator wants to add another user, it’s very easy. Simply install the “iGET M6” app on another mobile phone and register using an email address. Then, on the first phone, click the “Add User” option and enter the new user’s email address; an invitation to the app will be sent to them, and the user’s options will appear. Pairing is now complete.
A wide range of additional accessories and controls
All accessories compatible with the iGET SECURITY M6-4G alarm are labeled iGET SECURITY MPxx (where xx represents the numbers 01 through 99). No wiring or complicated setup is required to connect sensors to the central unit. The sensors are wireless and most are battery-powered; adding them to the system takes just a few seconds. The sensors have a range of up to 800 m from the main unit. Simply insert the batteries, scan the QR code on the sensor with your phone, and place it in the room. Up to 400 additional accessories can be added to the alarm system.
Activating and deactivating the alarm is also quick and easy, using either a wireless key fob, wireless keypad, RFID card, or mobile app. Using durable key fobs, you can arm/disarm the alarm, trigger an SOS alarm, or set Home mode for specific zones only.
Zoning - Rooms and Groups
The administrator can enable room and group mode in the settings. This allows sensors to be placed in individual virtual rooms and added to groups. Selected users can then be granted permission to control the given group of rooms and sensors. The alarm system supports the creation of up to 32 groups/zones.
"Welcome Chime"
Feature For use in stores, for example, the user can activate the Welcome Chime feature on the MP4 door sensor. The door sensor works such that when the contact is opened, the alarm plays a melody (the alarm must be in Home or Disabled mode).
Control of 230V
Sockets The iGET SECURITY M6-4G alarm system includes not only security but also smart home control. Using the iGET MP16 remotely controlled outlets to control a single 230V appliance, you can manage lighting, heating, or air conditioning, for example. The outlet is plugged into a standard wall outlet, with the selected appliance connected to it. You can turn it on/off remotely or set a timer.
IP Cameras and OnViF
Support iGET SECURITY MPxx IP cameras can be added to the iGET SECURITY M6-4G alarm system. The alarm also supports adding cameras via the OnViF protocol. A camera supporting the OnViF protocol must be on the same network, after which the alarm will detect it in the settings. You can always connect to these cameras via online data transmission.
"Ready to
Arm"
Feature When switching to Active mode, the main unit checks whether all windows and doors are closed; if not, it notifies you which windows/doors remain open. The user can either close them or confirm in the app that they should remain open, and the alarm will switch to Active mode. This feature can also be configured for only certain sensors or for none at all.
Ability to name sensors and controllers
The iGET SECURITY M6-4G allows for full naming of sensors, controllers, and all accessories. You can enter up to 160 characters, including diacritics. This is certainly more convenient and clearer than having to choose from a preset list of room names.
Tamper protection, power
disconnection As soon as the alarm detects a signal attempting to interfere with the frequency band on which the wireless sensors communicate, it sends a notification. If the alarm’s main 230 V power supply is disconnected or reconnected, the user is immediately notified. The alarm’s backup battery lasts up to 24 hours.
Low battery in the sensor
The user can check the sensor’s battery status in the app at any time and replace it if necessary. The app also automatically alerts the user to a low battery level in the sensor.
Automatic firmware update in the main unit
The main unit automatically checks for the latest firmware on the server, temporarily stores it in cache, and then updates the firmware. The update is very fast, taking about 1 minute. The user can manually trigger a search for a new firmware version in the settings and confirm that the alarm should update immediately. The update adds new features, upgrades security rules to a higher version, and adds support for additional sensors.
