Support: Tablets
Before you submit a query to our Helpdesk regarding a device malfunction, please review the points below to see if a solution already exists. Please do this, as over 50% of inquiries have a solution described below. Thank you.
1) The tablet displays an error message or has a problem.
If you see an error message on your tablet, are having trouble charging it, or are experiencing another issue, try checking to see if an update is available. If you’re having trouble connecting to Wi-Fi and can’t download the update, try restarting the tablet, turning on Wi-Fi immediately after the restart, and checking for the update. To complete the update successfully, the battery must be charged to more than 30%.
2) The connected keyboard does not type Czech characters.
If you have a connected keyboard and it isn’t typing Czech characters, you need to set the keyboard layout. You can find this setting in Settings => System => Language & Input => Physical Keyboard => here, click on the name of the physical keyboard (HID and possibly a number), a window will appear, and select “SET KEYBOARD LAYOUT”; here, you can select the keyboard layout you need. For example, if you select Czech and English, you can switch between these layouts while typing using the keyboard shortcut Left CTRL + Spacebar
3) Unable to connect to a PC via a USB cable or unable to connect a USB flash drive.
If you have an iGET SMART L206 tablet or an iGET SMART L205 tablet inserted into the K206 keyboard (for L206) or K10P keyboard (for L205), you cannot simultaneously use the USB-C port to transfer data to or from the tablet. When the tablet is inserted into the keyboard, only charging via USB-C is possible. To connect the tablet to a computer, you must remove the tablet from the keyboard and, after connecting it to the PC, set up data transfer on the tablet.
4) The tablet has frozen, and I keep seeing the Android image or the iGET logo after turning it on.
Wait at least 3 minutes to see if Android loads. If it does not load, carefully press the reset button with a blunt, thin object; it is located near the tablet’s power button. If this does not help, you will need to send it to a service center.
5) The tablet won’t turn on after purchase or after the battery has run out.
The tablet may have a dead battery after purchase, which is why it won’t turn on. After purchase, the tablet must be charged for at least 15–40 minutes. The same applies if the battery is completely drained. If it still won’t charge, try using a different power cable of the same type, or an adapter with the same specifications as the original adapter.
6) The display looks scratched or dirty after purchase.
Every display, or rather the touchscreen layer, comes covered with a protective film from the factory, which can be peeled off the touchscreen layer after purchase, for example, with your fingernail. We recommend starting in the upper right corner of the tablet.
7) I entered the wrong unlock PIN or gesture, and the tablet is now locked.
The tablet requires a complete reinstallation of Android. This procedure can only be performed at a service center. Alternatively, you can inquire about the cost of repair/Android reinstallation here: www.servis4you.cz. In any case, before sending the device to the service center, you must submit a request here: reklamace.intelek.cz
8) The tablet cannot connect to a Wi-Fi network.
Check that you have entered the correct username or password, then try connecting the tablet to a different network created by a different router, as older router models may not support long device names and will refuse to connect the device. The solution is to update such an older router to the latest firmware or replace it with a new one, such as the Tenda TX3 or Tenda TX9 Pro.
9) The tablet’s battery doesn’t last long.
Battery life depends on usage; if you have a video playing, Wi-Fi connected, brightness set to maximum, and similar settings, shorter battery life is common. You can extend battery life by, for example, lowering the LCD brightness or turning off Wi-Fi when not in use.
10) Crackling in the speaker.
In some cases, a crackling sound may occur in the speaker, e.g., when using Wi-Fi, launching an app, and so on. This is a normal occurrence with the tablet, so it will not be considered in the event of a warranty claim.
11) According to the specifications, the tablet has 4GB of internal memory, but I see a different number in the settings.
The tablet contains 4GB of internal memory; however, the usable amount is only 3.7GB due to the conversion from the decimal to the binary system understood by computers. The Android system typically claims 1 GB, and the remaining 2.7 GB is divided, depending on the tablet model, into 1–2 GB for apps and user data + 0.4–1.58 GB for data when connecting a USB flash drive.
How does this work on a tablet?
1. Internal storage – storage for apps
2. SD card/Internal storage – (it should really be called an SSD drive or internal SD card) – storage for data such as videos, images, etc.
3. External SD card – a microSD card inserted into the phone that cannot be used to store apps. It is used to store data that you may later want to access on a computer.

12) Processor speed For processors, the maximum frequency at which the processor can run is listed; the actual value may vary depending on the application.
13) The internal memory on my tablet isn’t enough for apps.
In this case, we recommend uninstalling unused apps.
Some apps can be "Moved to SD" to free up memory for other apps. To move an app, go to the System menu > Apps > select the app > click "Move to SD." This option is supported by only some apps and may not always be available in Android.
Another option is to use the "Clear Data" button in the same interface as in the previous sentence, which clears the cache data that apps store—sometimes unnecessarily (e.g., Facebook).
Another option is to move your photos and downloaded files to the second, larger partition of the internal storage, if the internal storage is partitioned.
14) The tablet has stopped responding, won’t turn on, or doesn’t respond to touch.
Perform a factory reset (Factory reset/Recovery reset). Warning: doing this will delete all data (photos, videos, music, PDFs, etc.) stored on the tablet!! The tablet must be turned off. If the touchscreen isn’t working, hold down the Power button until the tablet turns off. Press and hold the Volume - button, then press the Power button. Hold both buttons until the tablet turns on. Use the Volume + and - buttons to select the “Wipe data/factory reset” option in the Recovery interface, then confirm with the Power button.
15) WhatsApp
During a video call via the WhatsApp app, the image is rotated by 90°. This is caused by the WhatsApp app, which is configured for a mobile phone held vertically, while the tablet is held horizontally. For this reason, the image is rotated by 90°.
